Role Overview: The Operational Excellence Champion is responsible for identifying, analysing, and enhancing business processes to achieve organisational goals.
This role focuses on reducing costs, defects, and rework while improving product and service quality, as well as customer satisfaction.
By introducing new methods, sharing best practices, and driving Lean, Six Sigma, and AGILE initiatives under Takeda's OpEx program, the Champion supports Takeda's mission of bringing better health to people and a brighter future to the world.
How You Will Contribute: Identify improvement opportunities in Value Streams and Support Functions.
Plan and implement process improvements to reduce costs and errors.
Deploy Operational Excellence (AGILE) programs across sites and functions, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
Lead transformative projects using Lean, Six Sigma, and AGILE principles to deliver measurable performance gains.
Ensure timely and complete execution of Lean/OpEx projects.
Apply industry-standard Lean experience with tools such as Minitab or Power BI is a plus.
Courage to challenge existing processes and drive change.
Agile learner with the ability to put theory into practice.
Interest in digital technology and participation in Agile reviews and learning encounters across the organization.
