This role combines hands on technical architecture with team leadership, ensuring robust design, development, and delivery of high quality data solutions.You'll define the technical direction, drive architectural decisions, and mentor a small, collaborative team of developers. A strong background in Python (including Pandas and PySpark) is essential, along with deep experience in data systems architecture, AWS, and modern development practices (Agile, CI/CD, OOP).12 month daily rate contract opportunity with strong opportunity to extend beyond that.(Hybrid - Dublin City Centre) The Job Define and implement technical strategy and architectural patterns for a new data platform.Lead and mentor a distributed development team.Design and optimise scalable data pipelines and data models.Ensure code quality, security, and maintainability through best practices.Work closely with business and engineering teams to deliver reliable solutions.
