Job Description A Supply Chain Manager is required by CareerWise Recruitment for our Cork based electronics manufacturing client.
This is a leadership role with 10 direct reports reporting to the site Operations Manager.
Role of this position * Reporting to the Operations Manager for the organisation of people, equipment, and processes across Planning, Purchasing, Supplier Development, Customer Service and Logistics (shipping, receiving and stores) areas to ensure business and customer commitments are met.
* Plan resources to meet targets * Monitor plan versus actual * Continually refine and optimise processes * Works closely with roles across internal departments including Production, Program Management, Manufacturing, Design and Test Engineering, Quality, Finance, HR, FEHS and Value Stream Management.
Externally the role works with the wider Global Supply Chain organisation.
JOB REQUIREMENTS 10+ years leading and managing people in a regulated manufacturing environment A qualification and experience in Supply Chain, Planning and Logistics management or related business discipline An Engineering qualification or experience in Electronic/Electrical Engineering or related discipline is an advantage SAP experience is an advantage as the company is transitioning to SAP Experience in Known Consignor compliance is an advantage Lean / project management experience is an advantage
