Prepare TIAs, Mobility Management planning, traffic modelling, junction assessment and design and work associated with urban and suburban development works.
Undertake Health & Safety duties including ensuring a safe and healthy working environment for the project team members and fulfilling all responsibilities for health and safety in design.
Ensure technical content and quality of output produced is in line with the project brief and Client’s quality procedures.
Manage sub-consultants to produce deliverables against agreed timescales and in line with budget.
Attend internal and external Project Progress meetingsand represent the Client at planning/project meetings.
Prepare detailed client briefs, fee proposals, technical responses and study reports for Manager approval and contribute to major bids.
Requirements
Degree (or equivalent) in Engineering, Geography, Planning or a related discipline.
Experience of undertaking a range of traffic engineering design projects and studies.
Excellent technical and communication skills.
Demonstrable experience in transport planning, spatial planning and traffic design at concept, feasibility and preliminary stages.
Experience in traffic modelling software
Understanding of Health and Safety.
Experience in spatial planning, development control, transport strategy, cycling, walking, road safety, public transport and parking design.
Package
Salary €40k - €55k depending on level of experience
20 days annual leave, increasing to 25
