Clinical Nurse Manager 2 - Complementary Therapy
Lead the delivery of complementary therapies and have a pivotal role in managing the provision of complementary therapies to children/teens and their carers within the Haematology/Oncology setting.
Communicate and work closely with all Haematology/Oncology staff including the Palliative Care team.
Identify needs in relation to the development of complementary therapies and coordinate the introduction of other appropriate therapies.
Address issues of quality, training, audit, research and the delivery of complementary therapies.
Liaise with other complementary Therapists/Centre\'s of Excellence regarding training and development of complementary therapies.
Essential Criteria
Be registered on the Children's Division and/or the General Division of the Register of Nurses & Midwives maintained by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland
AND Have at least 5 years post registration experience of which 2 must be within an acute paediatric hospital setting
AND Qualification in a complementary therapy which includes at least one of the following: massage, reflexology, and/or aromatherapy at a diploma of higher education or degree level
AND Experience in complementary therapies involving children
AND Have the clinical, managerial and administrative capacity to properly discharge the functions of the role
AND Demonstrate evidence of continuing professional development at the appropriate level

Additional Information
CHI has transitioned to a process of one commencement day per month for all new employees, CHI internal transfers and secondments.
This onboarding process aligns with changes in payroll and the launch of the new corporate induction program.
Onboarding requires mandatory training to be completed at least 7 days prior to commencement.
If training is not completed in time, the commencement date will be deferred to the next available date.
