Maintenance Manager Role
As a key member of our team, the Maintenance Manager will be responsible for leading and managing all maintenance activities across the site. This includes prioritizing maintenance and repairs, overseeing spare parts inventory, and coordinating sub-contractors.
* Prioritize maintenance and repairs to ensure optimal performance of equipment and tooling.
* Manage spare parts inventory to ensure adequate stock for critical equipment.
* Nominate, supervise, and coordinate sub-contractors for maintenance work.
* Communicate with sub-contractors to ensure work is completed according to contracts.
* Verify completion of sub-contractor work and sign off accordingly.
* Supervise employees in the department, monitoring performance and quality of workmanship.
* Optimize equipment performance and product quality to achieve Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
* Develop and implement Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedules.
* Manage maintenance material costs and develop strategies to reduce expenditure.
* Stay up-to-date on changes affecting supply and demand of products and materials.
* Conduct risk assessments and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies.
Requirements:
* Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role.
* Strong people management and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Ability to work well under pressure and manage deadlines.
