Project Manager - Building Fit Out & Occupation Contract Details 9-month temporary agency contract Grade VI Salary Scale: €57,897 pro rata 27 days annual leave pro rata Flexible working arrangements available Can be worked on a part-time basis: Minimum 3 days per week required Up to 35 hours per week maximum Hybrid working available Our client is currently progressing a major long-term campus redevelopment project, with a brand-new campus planned over the next 8 years. As part of this transition, they are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the fit out, mobilisation and operational setup of a temporary premises in Dublin 8, where the organisation will be based during the redevelopment period. This is a hands-on, delivery-focused role suited to someone who enjoys coordinating moving parts, managing suppliers and ensuring projects are executed smoothly from planning through to occupation. The groundwork and planning are already in place - the successful candidate will take ownership of execution and day-to-day coordination to ensure the move and building setup runs seamlessly. The Role Working closely with the Campus Development Manager and Head of Corporate Services, the Project Manager will coordinate all aspects of the temporary building fit out and occupation. This is a highly autonomous role with significant responsibility and stakeholder coordination across suppliers, contractors and internal teams. Key responsibilities will include: Coordinating the fit out and occupation of the temporary building in line with project timelines Managing supplier delivery schedules and ensuring works are completed in the correct sequence Overseeing procurement processes and ensuring compliance with public sector procurement requirements Managing the procurement, delivery and installation of furniture, fixtures and fittings Coordinating IT infrastructure and operational readiness with internal stakeholders and external vendors Supporting the implementation of security systems and building access requirements Monitoring timelines, shipments, lead times and contractor deliverables Maintaining project trackers, risk logs and budget updates Acting as a key point of contact for internal departments including IT, HR, Finance and Operations Attending regular project meetings with senior stakeholders and the wider project team The ideal candidate will have: Previous experience managing fit out, relocation, facilities or operational move projects Strong organisational and coordination skills with excellent attention to detail Experience working within public sector procurement frameworks or regulated environments The ability to work independently and manage multiple stakeholders simultaneously Confidence dealing with contractors, suppliers and operational teams A proactive, solutions-focused approach with strong execution capability This opportunity would suit a highly organised project professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys owning the operational delivery of a large-scale move and occupation project.
