Job Overview:
The French Lawyer will play a key role in supporting IBM's business primarily in France.
Key Responsibilities:
* Negotiate, draft and advise on commercial transactions with suppliers and clients, including master services agreements, cloud agreements, data processing agreements, DORA addendums, NDAs and other agreements.
* Advise on legal issues related to back-to-back contracts with subcontractors, marketing matters such as sponsorship agreements, and compliance (Loi Sapin II, FCPA).
* Supporting IBM's business in France through legal analysis, risk assessment and advisory on contractual and regulatory matters is a key responsibility.
Requirements:
A French University degree in Law, fluency in English and French, and at least 2 years of legal experience in private practice or in-house are required.
Strong analytical skills, written and oral communication skills, and ability to build relationships and collaborate across internal functions are essential.
Good time management skills, ability to handle urgent situations and pressure, and a team player attitude are also necessary.
