Responsibilities
* Develop, implement, and monitor health and safety policies and procedures.
* Conduct risk assessments and hazard identification on various sites.
* Perform site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
* Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes and prevent future occurrences.
* Manage contractor and subcontractor performance regarding health and safety practices.
* Maintain thorough records and documentation of health and safety activities.
* Provide training and support to employees on health and safety issues.
* Stay updated on health and safety legislation and best practices.
Essential Qualifications
* Bachelor's Degree in Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
Desired Experience
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in health and safety management.
* Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation.
* Experience in risk assessment and hazard identification.
* Proven track record of conducting site inspections and audits.
* Experience in accident and incident investigation.
* Ability to develop, implement, and monitor health and safety policies and procedures.
* Experience in contractor and subcontractor management.
* Strong record-keeping and documentation skills.
