Automation Engineer, 5+ Years (Rockwell /Wonderware/Archestra)
Job Description
PACIV, a global leader in industrial automation solutions with offices in Ireland, United States and Puerto Rico, and servicing the Life Sciences, F&B and Utilities industries, is looking for regular employment-based Automation Engineer(s) for its Ireland office.
Job Description:
* Define, develop and deploy automation.
* Take leadership during the entire life cycle of automation projects, from concept to feasibility and from design and test to production.
* Develop automation User requirements and specifications.
* Solicit quotations from automation suppliers. Evaluate supplier quotations to determine the best combination of technical solution, cost and timing.
* Develop budget and schedule for projects and manage projects to stay within them.
* Conduct equipment design reviews and provide design guidance to suppliers.

* Manage automation suppliers through all phases of projects.
* Provide on-site support during machine build, debug and testing/qualification.
* Supervise installation and testing to verify requirements and specifications are met.
* Draft qualification protocols and support equipment qualification activities.
* Ensure compliance procedures, cGMP,
* Ensure that all Health, Safety and Environmental requirements are fulfilled.
* Open to travel to support development, FAT and other activities.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
ESSENTIAL:
* Third Level Qualification in Automation, IT Systems, Electronic/Mechatronic Engineering.
* Experience with Rockwell ,Siemens,SCADAplatforms and other PLC systems
* Ability to interpret engineering drawings/specifications.
* Experience of working within a regulated lifescience manufacturingenvironment.
* Must have a valid EU Work Permit
