Job Overview
You will handle diagnostics, repairs and routine maintenance on a range of vehicles.
You will work with experienced technicians, modern equipment and clear processes that support quality work.
Key Responsibilities
• Visually check, test drive or use test equipment to diagnose mechanical and engine faults
• Remove, dismantle, repair and replace defective parts and prepare new parts using the correct tools
• Reassemble, test, adjust and tune parts, systems or engines
• Carry out routine maintenance on filters, brakes and vehicle systems
• Diagnose electrical and electronic faults, remove faulty components and install replacements
• Check electrical and electronic systems and complete required servicing
• Install additional electrical amenities such as audio units or aerials
• Repair and service air conditioning, heating and cooling systems
• Replace timing belts or timing chains
Qualifications
• Recognised mechanical qualification
• Minimum five years of practical experience working on vehicles
